Flying through Denver? Why United’s New Lounges Are a Must-Visit!
Hey travel besties!
If you've been flying through Denver International Airport (DIA) lately, you might have noticed some fancy new additions courtesy of United Airlines. If you know me, you know I love an airport lounge. Let me walk you through a virtual tour of these new luxe lounges and tell you all the deets on why they're a game-changer for globetrotters like us!
The World's Largest United Club: A Grand Statement
Located in the B concourse near gate B44, United Airlines has unveiled a whopping 35,000-sq.-ft. facility that now stands proud as their largest club in the world. Can you imagine?
Here's a quick rundown of what's inside:
Triple Level Elegance: This isn't just any ordinary lounge; it's a three-story lounge with a staggering 600+ seating capacity.
Local brews on rotation: In addition to routine alcoholic spirits, the bar will have 10 rotating local and craft beers on tap. Colorado, known for its vibrant beer scene, means you'll likely get to sample some of the state's best brews!
The Second Gem: Elegance in A Concourse
Not to be outdone, the second club, which threw open its doors in August, is sprawled across 24,000 square feet in the A concourse. Highlights include:
Spacious layout: Spread across two levels, this beauty can accommodate 400 guests.
Double the fun: This lounge includes not one, but two premium bars ready to cater to your drink desires.
Amenities Galore
Both these clubs have got you covered when it comes to facilities:
Stay connected: With free high-speed Wi-Fi, you can post your elevated travel experience with a glass of champagne in hand for IG.
Hassle-free entry: The self-scan entry system ensures no wait time. This is heaven sent because after going through TSA the last thing you would want to do is be in another line.
Agent on Demand: Need some assistance? The 'Agent on Demand' kiosks are at your service. I always try and ask them for a complimentary seat upgrade or for a seat closer to the front of the plane.
Wellness first: For those who like a little peace before your flight, there are wellness rooms to help you relax and rejuvenate.
A Bigger Picture
United Airlines is all in on Denver, and these new lounges are just the tip of the iceberg. They're investing nearly $1 billion in the airport. On my recent trip to Denver, there was a lot of construction. With 12 new gates in the pipeline and another revamped club slated to launch in 2025, DIA is set to become a major hub for United. I cannot wait to see what it looks like once it is all completed.
Wrapping Up
Denver International Airport is shaping up to be a dream destination for travelers, and thanks to United Airlines, the journey is now as delightful as the destination. Whether you're on a layover, waiting for your next flight, or just love to lounge in style, DIA's got you covered.
Safe travels and see you in the lounge!
